Tamer Ashry is an Egyptian director, producer, screenwriter, and cinematographer with extensive experience in film, commercial, and television production across the Middle East. Founder and CEO of BEE Media, he specializes in fiction, documentaries, commercials, and reality programming, with a strong focus on media that drives social impact.

His human rights, gender equality, and anti-child abuse campaigns created with international organizations like the UN have earned widespread recognition. Ashry’s documentary works address pressing social themes like state violence, Palestinian daily life, and women’s roles in peacebuilding. His projects have screened at international film festivals and aired on global networks such as PBS, BBC, and Al Jazeera.

A Mass Communication graduate who earned his bachelor's degree with highest honors, Ashry produced the Dubai International Film Festival award-winner Nawara and served as assistant director on the box-office success The Blue Elephant. Photocopy marks his debut fiction feature film.
